2021 Rain Barrel Giveaways!

Prepare early for the next wet weather season! From August to October, the Office of Community Beautification (OCB) and Keep Los Angeles Beautiful (KLAB) will host COVID-conscious rain barrel giveaways. Registration is required.

Rain barrels can be picked up on the 2nd Thursday of each month during pre-arranged time slots between 9:00am to 10:00am and 1:00pm – 2:00pm;

While supplies last.

In 2014, the City’s rain barrel distribution program began in partnership with Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling who continue to generously donate the repurposed syrup barrels.

The rain barrels available through this program are intended to harvest rainwater for landscape irrigation and other non-potable uses. By installing a rain barrel, homeowners can conserve water, reduce the amount of polluted stormwater runoff that flows into our local waterways, and save money on their water bill.



Limit one rain barrel per household



Must be a City of LA resident



Once staff has confirmed your pickup date and time, please be sure to arrive at your scheduled time with your driver’s license and a legal document that confirms your address. Documents you can use for verification include your LADWP bill, gas bill, etc.
